Watch all Star Wars movies and study characters and plots. This is the language spoken by all Kindergarten boys (and a few Kindergarten girls...as I was gently reminded).
I know at least one Kindergarten boy purports to know a lot about Star Wars, but has never seen one movie. I love how this group of boys have lots of theories, but in the end talk is not going to provide the answers. Action is where it's at! -Kathryn
This is what makes this even more fascinating. I think most of the children that have acquired this language, knowledge of plot, characters and setting have never watched the movies. It is an oral history passed from one child to another.
Star Trek AND Star Wars!
ReplyDeleteMary, my faithful reader, I meant to say Star Wars. Changed and updated with Sydney in mind.
